Where Heroes Gather Retreat

The next retreat is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18th through Monday, April 23, 2012. A total of 50 combat wounded soldiers and their spouses or caregivers will attend from all across the nation.  Donations are needed to fly these soldiers to Panama City Beach, FL.

Wyndham Bay Point Resort is providing lodging for our soldiers. Panama City Toyota is providing cars for soldiers who are flying. Many restaurants and businesses have graciously donated their services to make this retreat possible.

On Thursday, April 19th  an opening ceremony will be hosted by the First Baptist Church, 640 Grace Ave in Panama City @ 7:00 PM. The public is invited to attend. US Army General Randy Dragon is the guest speaker.

A motorcycle and police escort will start @ 4:30 PM Wed., April 19th @ Wyndham Bay Point Resort and travel Hwy 98 East to Harrison Ave to the First Baptist Church and arrive at approximately at 5:15 PM. You can show your support by lining the streets of this route with signs and flags.
